SteerU Studio SteerU Studio provides an authoring environment for creating tutorial scripts that guide SAP application end users while they perform actual (live) procedures. SteerU Studio walks you through the process of recording and defining the steps to be performed in a SAP application procedure. In addition, the SteerU Studio helps you define the GUI elements that take part in each action and the text to be displayed for the end user in order to guide them while they perform each step. Default text is provided for editing. The following picture shows the defaults provided by SteerU Studio for a recorded step (before authoring). The left part of the SteerU Studio interface shows the recorded Steps List and the right side shows a snapshot of the GUI of the selected step. The recorded result is saved in a single file and can be shared among all users in your organization, sent by email and so on. SteerU Studio enables you to edit the default instructions that are created and to add more information that can be displayed upon end user request, such as the constraints and motivations for performing each step. Once a script is recorded, it can be modified to change field names and values and to specify whether SteerU Studio progresses automatically or requires manual prompting (by clicking in the bubble) to progress though each step. The scripts can be run and tested in the builder to ensure proper operation and clear end user explanations. SteerU Studio enables you to add voice, multi-language support and text-to-speech to the script.
